Rachel Jee
Pastoral Care Coordinator
Rachel moved to Launceston with her daughter, Bec, in spring 2016. Previously, Rachel worked in the office at CMS Australia, and then studied pastoral care subjects at Mary Andrews College, Sydney, while working part-time among women at her local church.
Rachel’s concept of pastoral care is that every Christian is called to offer love and compassion to each other. Because our blessed Father God comforts us when we ourselves suffer, we are equipped to offer that same comfort to others when they experience grief and pain (2 Cor:1). Rachel claims no expertise in living this out, but seeks to connect, facilitate and define how we love and care for one another at St John’s, so that Jesus is honoured.
